I just wanted to share a bit of news from the Council Meeting on Monday night.  Bob Swain and myself have volunteered to begin organizing some White Water Rafting trips.  We're very excited to try this out for the club; we think that rafting will offer a variety of fun benefits:

• Allow people who are interested in white water boating but don't have the time to learn to kayak to still be involved.
• Allow paddlers who want to do bigger water (Class IV / V) then they are capable of doing in a kayak / canoe
• Allow people who are new to white water paddling to get involved

Over the next couple of weeks, we will probably announce 2 or 3 trips for this year, so stay tuned for more information
