Re: Wilderness First Aid: March 23-24 (Tues-Wed)

Brad and I took this course 2 years ago and it was excellent.  On the second day, there is a mock real life emergency scenario that the participants experience and respond to with the course knowledge.  The weekend we took the class, the weather was beautiful until we had to go outside with full back country gear and reenact an wilderness emergency: at that point a freak rain storm came along and everyone and their gear became soaked.  The people who were playing the "victims" were laying in mud and being pelted with rain the whole time.  When we went inside to evaluate our responses, the sun came out and it was beautful again, anyone who went on our White Mountains trip this summer can relate to that rain cloud that follows us around!
