This Friday and Saturday April 18-19 is Club Days at both EMS Delaware locations. They are giving 20% off all merchandise to any member of an outdoor club. The Wilmington Trail Club has been asked to have representatives at both locations both days for recruiting members and answering general questions about the club and what we do. Friday is probably going to be hard for most people to volunteer. I know I can't make it there that day. We really need volunteers for the North Wilmington store Saturday. We have pretty good coverage at the Christiana location for Saturday. But if you can help out on Friday at either location, that would be great. If anyone can help hand out brochures about the club and answer questions please email me at bswain@psre.com or call 302-354-2873.
Thanks to Tom and Joan Burke, Tom Halladay and Katie Nelson, Steve Cope and Fiona McKay (and Me) for helping out at EMS Christiana today from 10-2. There weren't too many shoppers around, but we did manage to make connections with a couple of paddlers and picked up one couple as members. Traffic was probaly lite because of the beautiful weather! Thanks to Bill Hardam for making sure our table was stocked with information at Noon, and returning to tend the table from 2-4. He indicated that traffic was lite there as well.
