KNEE PAIN TREATMENT STUDY:
The University of Delaware is looking for individual who have knee pain while running to participate in a new treatment study in the physical therapy department at UD. From our previous research we know that a certain way of running maybe abnormally loading the knee and resulting in knee pain.
If you qualify for this study we will have you come in for 8 visits where we teach you to run with improved running form using data from our computers, force plates and cameras. Subjects in this study are compensated $300. The initial visit for this study is a screening visit where a physical therapist will examine your knee, we will observe your running form and chat about the study and show you the lab. If you have the type of knee pain and form we are looking for you are invited to participate in the study.
