Logos for the Club

I was perusing the new website, but will need more time before I pronounce it good.  So far, it is better than the last and will do my best to use and improve it.  That being said, the logo for skiing is "downhill" but the club only "officially" organizes cross-country trips.  Perhaps the logo should reflect this.  The bike is fairly non-descript so can pass for road or mountain bike, so thats good.  i like the white water kayak, too.  Not enough canoers or flatwater people to complain about it.

Thanks Tom.  You did a good job even with Bob's help.

Re: Logos for the Club

All I know is, if Hans declares that this site "sucks", I'm going to drill a hole in his kayak when he's not looking!      The logo (and icons) were chosen to balance representation of the activities, and also be easily recognized and identified.  I haven't seen any cross country ski symbols that lay people would easily identify.  If we decide to update the symbols later on, we have that ability, but for now it was decided that the logo is overall a good match.

Also, I had a fair amount of help putting all this together.  Both in understanding how the old site worked, as well as shaping the new site.  But I'll save a formal thank you for a post with less sarcasm and jest in it.
