This paddle has been moved to the flatwater section. Whitewater paddlers are welcome.  Moving water experience is required.

I was scheduled to coordinate this trip for whitewater paddlers on Saturday (5/5), but cannot because of a family issue.  Lois Hillman is coordinating the same section for experienced Rec paddlers and has offered to include whitewater folks that are interested.  This is a fun section with plenty of eddies, some fun ferrying, some very small waves and chutes and great views.

Put in location can be found on GPS with the coordinates  39 56.242'N, 75 43.778'W  It is on Embreeville Road (Rt. 162) near Stargazer Road. Take out at Shaw's Bridge park.  Water level is good (currently 2.4 ft).  Lois will be contacting Northbrook Canoe Livery for detailed conditions on the section.

We are meeting at 10:30am quickly unloading and then shuttling down to the take out. If you need to contact Lois, her email address is hillmanlj@gmail.com

A great paddle that was enjoyed by 13 of us. This is a great standby paddle provided that there is water. Thanks for leading it Lois.
