I would like to encourage everyone to take a look at and participate in an upcoming event September 19th or 20th.  I would guess that some of you have participated in a walk-a-thon or a marathon to help raise money for an organization, well this is a climb-a-thon event.  Do not be scared aware by the word climb though as this event is open to anyone with who like to hike, climb or bike.  The great thing about this event is that you do not have to be in a particular town or area to participate in the event.   How can that be?  This is a World Wide Event and you can participate in the event no matter where you are.  For more information on the event and event registration visit www.climbupsokidscangrowup.com.

All funds raised through this event go directly to the American Foundation for Children with AIDS, (AFCA) a registered charitable organization in the State of Pennsylvania.  AFCA provides medicine for children with AIDS in Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo.  With this medicine children can grow up and live to help make change in their communities.

I am taking part of this event as part of a Kilimanjaro team and we will be summiting on the day of this event.  Join me and other around the world as we raise money to save lives.
