I don't know what's going on, maybe something to do with the dam project but I haven't been over there in a while. THe spill level is being listed as 165ft, almost 4 feet lower than before, meaning they're currently spilling even though the river's still low. No idea how that effects the kayaking. SOmeone needs to check it out......

John,
Does this have to do with the Boards? Here's what they say:
"Holtwood is currently spilling and will remain in spill for the next several days. Most of Holtwood’s flashboards are missing. Spill starts at elevation 165.0 feet."
The bubble is moving downstram, with both Lake Aldred and NOAA Harrisburg predicting Holtwood will be runnable by Saturday:

Hans, What so you think?
I was over there on Wednesday and water was just spilling over the dam, nothing to write home about... The general rule has been using the Harrisburg gauge. Locals will check and get out sometimes at 5.3",,, 5'6" it is usually a go, One should make the drive with water for sure 6' and above........
