Kayaking on TV

If you want to watch some really good paddling, either tune in to (or tape) the following this coming Sunday (5/11):

What:  Coverage of US Olympic/Team Trials for Kayak / C1/ C2 slalom competition.
When:  Sunday, 5/11/2008
Time:  12-1 pm
Network:  MSNBC  (not sure what channel due to the various cable systems in the area)

This competition was held on the new, artificial course in Charlotte, NC.  I've seen some footage of this year's races on YouTube.  The course looks quite challenging - to say the least.  For anyone who has tried slalom, if it looks challenging, then things happen at light speed if you're actually in a boat trying to paddle the course and make the gates.  (Mary & I have raced quite a bit, so we know this from personal experience.)

Hope you enjoy watching the racing.

John

Re: Kayaking on TV

Wow, great catch John.  It's channel 56 for Comcast in NCC.  I'm DVR'ing to watch later.

Thanks!
