Outfitting Party Feb 25

It’s that time again... winter, and we’ll use any excuse to have a party!!

Come over and work on your outfitting issues, make a changing robe, or just come hang out and visit with friends.

If you’d like to bring a snack or drinks that would be great. We also ordered pizza last time, which worked out well.

Reply here if you can make it.

Date/Time: Saturday, February 25 at 4:00pm
Location: 101 Monticello Road, Wilmington, DE 19803 (Fairfax development off of 202)

Hope to see you there!

Gwen

Re: Outfitting Party Feb 25

I'll be there.  If Shannon brings her sewing machine for making changing "tents", I'll bring a pattern and a couple of bed sheets and fabric scraps for making 2-3 tents.  I'll bring an appetizer too.

Re: Outfitting Party Feb 25

I'm planning to be there, barring unforeseen water events.   Do any of the club boats need work?

Hi Gwen, thanks for hosting!

Steve and I are coming.  I will bring a dessert and my sewing machine for the changing robes.

Re: Outfitting Party Feb 25

I hope to be attending.  I also have a sewing machine and can bring that also if needed.  How much material do you need to make a changing robe?  I am interested in makeing one for myself.  Also I can pick material up if anyone needs its.   Thanks

Re: Outfitting Party Feb 25

If anyone wants to make a changing robe, you'll need about 3 yards of fabric, at least 54 inches wide; 3-1/2 yards if you're really tall.  Bias seam binding tape is needed to keep neck and arm holes from raveling.  If you can't find a fabric store, a flat sheet for a twin bed is wide enough, and will make a knee length changing robe.

Re: Outfitting Party Feb 25

Someone left a plastic grocery bag that had some kind of grater and some tea bags and splenda in it.  Let me know if it is yours! Thanks.
