It's time for the annual Labor Day paddle, picnic and Almost Fab Beatles Tribute Band.

 Details -

• Paddle on the Sassafras - meet at 9:30, launch at 10 am from Foxhole Landing Road.  Wes is the trip coordinator.  Take-out will be around noon in order to get to White Clay by 1 pm.
• Picnic - approximately 1 pm at White Clay Creek State Park [same location as last year
  • Pot luck - Please bring something to share.
  • Wes and I will bring pulled pork and rolls, and paper goods and plasticware.
  • Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on
• Concert begins at 3 pm and will last 3 hours.
  • We can lay out a few blankets upon our arrival to stake out a spot or we can hang out at our picnic area and listen to the music from a distance.

 Non-paddling spouses and friends are welcome to join us for the picnic and concert.  We will try to set up where we did last year - adjacent to the first parking lot [in the grassy area on the left as you drive in].

Please note - there is a park entrance fee [$3 in-state, $6 out-of-state] for each vehicle unless you have a DE state park sticker.
