For paddlers who can take off on Friday, paddle the Lackawaxen on a special boaters’ dam release.

River can range between Class I and II+, depending upon release level.

Combine this river with two days on the Upper Delaware for a fun weekend.

UPPER DELAWARE RIVER CAR CAMPING TRIP

The Upper Delaware is the longest free-flowing river in the Northeast. It includes riffles and Class I and II rapids between placid pools and eddies.

Camp at Dingmans (NPS) Campground on Friday and Saturday nights.
