Stoney Creek - April 25'th
Modified By Tom Halladay on 4/14/2008 1:23:25 PM)

I just found out that the Stonycreek Rendevous is April 25th thru 27th this year. Not the 18th-20th as I had thought. Maybe they changed the dates.

If anyone is interested in putting a trip together let me know, 302-475-3202

Re: News Flash

Ed,

I might be interested in going that weekend, especially if you do the Cheat on Sat.  Due to the distance from Dover I would likely drive up on Friday night and leave fairly early on Sunday, but maybe with time to do the Stony on the way home.  What did you have in mind?

Dave

Re: News Flash

I plan to drive to the stony on friday afternoon, The 25th, and camp that night at the festival site or get a room depending on conditions: then paddle Saturday and Sunday before driving home. I have Tom Halladay and one maybe so far.

I'm in for sure.  I just talked with Steve and he would like to go too.  We would probably leave late Friday night, as he has a class friday evening.

Ed, what campsite are you camping at?  or what motels are you considering?

Also, we have 1 seat available for the trip out, and we are getting a room, space is available on that too.  So if anyone wants to go, and carpool, let me know

The Stonycreek Canyon for sure. The Shade, if they get substantial rain. If it is high enough you can paddle the Shade down to the Stony and keep on going down the Stony from there. There is another section of the Stony "the Gorge" which I have never done, We might be able to get the skinny on it at the festival.
