Everything's up right now . Holtwood is off the charts, so it might be good or great on Saturday. Lehigh inflow is 5000 cfs so they should be releasing for a few days.

Maybe a mini-megarelease on Sat? Suggestions anyone? Let's see what we can get!
I would be up for Lehigh this weekend if flow is good. Not interested in Holtwood though.
According to the weather service the tempature MIGHT get up to freezing on Saturday as well.
I'm sure it won't be that warm in the Poconoes though.
Inflow is now at 3000, outflow is 3500. Looks like they are releasing what they took in over past few days. May be back to normal by weekend.

Don't appear to be a lot of brave souls right now............5200cfs! Who's paddling????
Weekend Paddlers,
Make sure you check what happening at Holtwood before you head out to the site. Be careful of winter conditions this weekend. Hope this information is helpful.
There is 316,000cfs recorded and seventeen gates open. There are more gates open right now than what it says. If they get up to 16, thats some crazy stuff. I have a hotline number that anyone can call. Gives the amount of gates open, CFS and other data. 877-457-2525 - Conewago Spill Condition Hotline Some years back we had a mission where the gates were frozen shut and they could not lower the water levels. We used MD National Guard CH-47's to fly pumps in to do the job.
Have a good time,
Michael
Paddlers,
This does not effect the York County side of the river. However, be aware that there will be changes on both sides of the river until construction is done!

Michael,
Thanks for the info. Holtwood needs to be taken seriously, even at low levels on a summer day!
Lehigh still cranking, Inflow has dropped, but outflow is still high. Pool has only dropped 20 feet since they started releasing 5k yesterday at 8:30 am. Looks like they may still be releasing a lot this weekend. Dave, have you gotten any emails from anyone wanting to paddle?
No, and I'm not going up there. Might still go to the Muddy if enough people with full winter gear want to go pretty early in the morning.
