A fun time was had by all on the Sassafras today.  This was a 3 Eagle Trip [3 Bald eagles sighted].  Just to keep the fun going, Wes and I will coordinate a trip to Perryville, MD / Mouth of the Susquehanna River on Saturday, July 5th.  We will be paddling out of the Perryville Community Park on Mill Creek or Perry Point [we will find this together.]

 

This will be a scouting trip - we have never kayaked this area before.  If you have, join us and lead the way!  If you haven't, let's explore together.

Meeting Place - Chesapeake House Welcome Center [median of I-95, 12 miles south of the Delaware Border] - please note this is a left exit.  This is the first rest area in Maryland on I-95. 

Please note the change in meeting place, the Perryville Outlets do not open until 10 am so restroom facilities may not be available until then.

 

Meeting Time - 8:45 am [we will leave at 9:00 am]
Paddling Time - Finish around 2 pm
