Ingrid Jackoway is coordinating a paddle on Morgan Creek, a tidal tributary of the Chester River, just east of Chestertown. This is a good paddle for all experience levels. Here is her write-up:We will meet at 10, launch at 10:30. Wewill go upriver first, return to the put-in for lunch, and then godownriver if people wish. Put-in is Riley's Mill Landing. Go south on213 towards Chestertown. Turn left onto Riley's Mill road and go about3/4 mile to the water. There are no facilities at the put-in. There isparking for 12 to 15 cars. Upriver distance will be 4 to 6 milesroundtrip. It is a scenic winding river with lots of eagles and greatblue herons. Swimming is good at the put-in/lunch spot.RSVP to me: firstname.lastname@example.org
Hello. I am interested. I just got a new 14 foot Pongo I want to try out. Is 14 foot ok on this trip or should I stay with 12 foot boat? I tried to respond directly to Ingrid but got a message her site was under construction
